Water infrastructure including trunk main lines have been severely damaged and in some cases destroyed across many places, especially within the Gisborne and Tairāwhiti regions. Our teams have been rolling up their sleeves and doing what they can to expedite product delivery to cyclone-damaged areas.
Cyclone Gabrielle put many parts of the North Island under immense pressure and we’ve been proud to be lending a hand where we can to support our neighbours, partners and customers in the clean-up efforts. This included a $200,000 donation to the Red Cross New Zealand Disaster Fund by the Hynds Foundation.
